SLED Charges Marion County Man with Failure to Secure a Required Beer or Wine Permit, Unlawful Sale of Liquor, and Unlawful Storage of Liquor in a Place of Business
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Liston Swinton III, 36, with Failure to Secure a Required Beer or Wine Sale Permit, Unlawful Sale of Liquor – 1st Offense, and Unlawful Storage of Liquor in a Place of Business – 1st Offense on Monday, August 10, 2026. The Mullins Police Department requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Swinton III was booked into the Marion County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 12th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
