“Republicans in the General Assembly finally got their act together and passed a state budget, but it should never have taken this long. With a supermajority in both the South Carolina House and Senate, their failure to get the job done on time was a massive and unnecessary blunder that created uncertainty for communities across South Carolina.

South Carolinians deserve legislators who work for them and don’t miss deadlines. This November, voters have an opportunity to demand better and choose Democrats who will put the people of South Carolina ahead of political games and deliver for South Carolina .”
